All root canal hand and rotary files will be single use instruments. Along with cross infection control that this represents, single use files have less breakage due to cyclic fatigue and work hardening.
Highly potent antimicrobial agents will be used during the root canal treatment along with rubber dam isolation further reducing the microbial load in the root canal and thus improving the success rate of the procedure.
All the instruments used are sterilised using the Dept of Health guidelines which involves the use of the washer-disinfector and sterilisation unit.
